Pastors Jack & Mary Jean Pidgeon
Pastors Jack and Mary Jean Pidgeon founded West Houston Christian Center. They both grew up in the Houston area and have a heart for the city of Houston. Each was saved in a denominational church at a young age, but as they grew, so did their hunger to know God in a personal way. In the late 70's each had a radical experience with the Living God and were born again and baptized in the Holy Ghost. In 1985 God called Pastor Jack out of the insurance agency he had built over 18 years and called him into full-time ministry.
He served faithfully under Pastor Earl J. Banning at Braeswood Assembly until 1989. Then the Lord spoke to him through Luke, Chapter 5: 1-11, about ".launching out into the deep". Shortly after that, West Houston Christian Center was born. Pastor Mary Jean Pidgeon has been in full-time ministry for 20 years, bringing a message of hope to all women concerning their purpose, position and power. God has anointed Pastor Mary Jean to preach the uncompromising word of God through the ministry, "The Restoration of Women's Virtues". She is an author and teacher and travels extensively preaching and teaching all over the world.
